These Terms of Service govern your use of REAgentGigs, operated by REAgentGigs as a licensed white-label marketplace for real estate professionals.
Eligibility
You must be a licensed real estate professional in good standing in the jurisdictions where you perform gig work, or authorized brokerage staff where you act as a brokerage administrator. Brokerage administrators represent that they are authorized by their brokerage to manage tenant users; they are not representing themselves as licensed gig workers unless they maintain a separate verified agent credential. See Professional Credentials & Marketplace Access for license requirements and enforcement.
User roles
REAgentGigs uses a single marketplace account model:
- Agent — Licensed real estate professionals who may browse gigs, post gigs, apply to gigs, and complete work on the platform.
- Brokerage administrator — Authorized staff of a brokerage tenant who may manage users and post gigs on behalf of the brokerage, but who do not participate as gig workers unless they also hold a separate agent account where permitted.
When you post a gig, you act as the Poster for that gig. When you accept and perform a gig, you act as the Provider (worker) for that gig. These are transaction roles, not separate account types.
Platform role
REAgentGigs is a technology platform that facilitates connections between licensed real estate professionals who post and perform paid gigs through a shared marketplace. Brokerages and their authorized administrators may post gigs on behalf of the organization. REAgentGigs does not engage in real estate brokerage, provide legal or financial advice, guarantee gigs, closings, or earnings, or act as an employer. All gig arrangements are between users.
Professional credentials & marketplace access
Maintaining accurate, current, and verifiable license information is a condition of continued marketplace access, not a one-time onboarding step.
Your obligations. You must keep license number, state, expiration date, and profile name consistent with official licensing records. You must maintain at least one active, verified license to apply for, accept, or perform gig work that requires a real estate license. You must promptly update your credentials when your license is renewed, suspended, revoked, transferred to another brokerage, or otherwise changes status.
Verification. We may verify license information against third-party and state licensing databases when you submit credentials, on a recurring schedule, and when we suspect inaccuracy. Verification results may be shared with your brokerage administrator.
Compliance failures. If your license expires, verification fails, you miss an onboarding deadline, or you otherwise fail to maintain valid credentials, we may suspend your account, restrict marketplace access, or deactivate your ability to participate until you correct the issue and pass re-verification.
Willful misrepresentation. Submitting a false license, another person's license, deliberately mismatched profile information, or repeated submissions after failed verification constitutes willful misrepresentation. This may result in termination and permanent removal from the platform.
Reporting. We may report suspected license fraud or misrepresentation to your broker of record, applicable state real estate licensing authority, and law enforcement where required by law or where we believe reporting is necessary to protect users and the public.
Fees and payments
A platform service fee of 12% (Standard), 9% (Professional), or 6% (Enterprise) of the posted provider payout is charged on successful gigs (exact percentage shown at gig posting or acceptance, set by the brokerage subscription plan). The Poster or brokerage office funds the posted provider payout plus the service fee. The Provider receives the posted payout on release, except an Instant fee when the Provider chose Instant payouts. Older contracts may deduct the service fee from the Provider payout.
When Instant payouts are offered, a Provider may choose Standard or Instant under Profile → Payments. Instant deducts 1% of the payout (minimum $0.50) from the Provider payout. The fee is returned if the Instant payout fails. Payouts under $0.50 after the fee, or over $9,999, stay on the standard schedule with no Instant fee. Instant requires an instant-eligible debit card or bank on the Provider's Stripe account. This fee is not charged to the Poster.
Platform payments are processed through Stripe. Funds are released when both parties mark the gig complete and submit reviews, per the platform rules.
Deadlines, overdue gigs, and disputes
Each gig includes a completion deadline set by the Poster. If work is not completed by that deadline, the platform marks the gig overdue.
Grace period. When a gig becomes overdue, a 72-hour grace period begins, measured from the original deadline. During this window:
- Either party may propose a deadline extension through the contract page.
- An extension takes effect only when both the Poster and the Provider accept it. If accepted, the gig returns to in progress with the new agreed deadline.
- While a gig is overdue, Provider delivery actions (such as success-criteria proof submission and marking complete) may be locked until an extension is approved. The work thread remains available for communication.
After the grace period. If the grace period ends without an approved extension, deadline extension requests are no longer available. Either party may open a dispute through the contract page so the issue can be reviewed under the platform's dispute process. Payment funds remain held according to platform rules until the gig is completed, cancelled, or otherwise resolved.
Platform notices and contract screens show the grace period end time for each overdue gig.
